Ricavi writes the notes and drafts the follow-ups. It updates the CRM once the consultant approves.

The stack: calls on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom feed Ricavi. Ricavi sits above your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics): account, deal, and contacts come up, drafted updates go down once the consultant approves them. Google Calendar, Outlook, Google Drive, and OneDrive sit alongside.

Ask who signs off before you say yes.
Ricavi tracks your engagement process live. If a key question is still open after halfway, a smart nudge suggests the words to say. Only the consultant sees it.
The consultant’s seat
Business development for consultants who do the work.
When the call ends, the summary and transcript are ready for your prep notes.
Scored on your own process
Each recorded call gets a score. It checks your questions, your tone, how you handle objections, and your firm’s own steps.
A private coaching chat
The coaching chat already knows what was said, so you can ask it what you missed in the scoping conversation. It stays private unless you share it.
Your next move
One press drafts the scoping questions you skipped, ready for the next client call.

Scoping questions to ask before you say yes.
The four areas the deal view checks, as questions for your next client meeting. Copy one, or copy all of them into your prep notes.
Problem statement
In your words, what problem are we being asked to solve?
The deal view shows whether an agreed problem statement is on record.
Buying committee
Who else is involved in signing this off, and what are the steps?
A pursuit with only one contact is flagged as single-threaded.
Business case
What is this costing the business today?
The deal view shows whether impact evidence has been captured.
Path to decision
What has to happen between now and a signed engagement?
A mutual action plan can be drafted in the Workspace.
A pursuit that rests on one sponsor.
Ricavi flags a pursuit with only one contact. It lines up an email asking your sponsor who else has a say. Nothing is written to your CRM until someone approves it.
To review
The consultant edits and approves each draft on its own.
Send email
Follow-ups go from your own account, and only once approved.
Or dismiss it
Dismiss a draft and nothing is sent or synced.

What is consulting firm business development?
Consulting firm business development is how a firm wins and extends engagements, usually through the people who deliver the work. It tends to break in four places: the scope is set too fast, the proposal goes out before the client has agreed the problem, one sponsor carries the pursuit, and new work raised during delivery is never picked up.
Scoping call
The live checklist follows your engagement process and ticks off each scoping question as the client answers it. After halfway, it nudges you about any critical one still open.
Writing the proposal
When all four areas are covered, start it in the Workspace. The Proposal objective opens a chat that already has the pursuit’s CRM context.
During delivery
When a client raises a problem outside the current scope, Ricavi tags the moment with a timestamp. The follow-on conversation starts from their words.
After a lost pursuit
Ask the coaching chat “What did we miss in the scoping conversation?” The answer starts from that call’s transcript and scorecard.
